Well, the big meet is done did and I'm exhausted. Three long days, 23 races, 2300yds and 12 bottles of gatorade later, I'm as happy as a 5 year old at chuck-e-cheese. A lot of good swims, a couple great ones. Here's how it played out:

I've come to the conclusion that additional yardage is not the progress criteria I need to use. Beginning in 2008, I'll return to the 1 million yard pace to keep me honest and focused on a regimented swim program. Outside of that, I'll worry about the kind of yardage I'm doing, not the amount.

The meet people were ridiculous. If I have any say, we won't be doing anything with ASA again. I understand what they're trying to accomplish, but they're really missing the point.
